Twenty years ago, as a musician and sound engineer, I dove deep into the fascinating world of audio technology. I didn't just want to hear; I wanted to fundamentally understand how legendary hardware compressors, mixing consoles, and the world's best amplifiers worked. This curiosity drove me to study electrical engineering. There, analog circuit design captivated me so much that I began building my own uncompromising audio equipment early in my studies.
Soon, the first high-end tube devices emerged: guitar and headphone amplifiers, hi-fi power amps, as well as demanding studio equipment like Altec compressors and mic preamps. From the very beginning, I relied on a proprietary power supply technology—the HV-Core module. I continuously developed this system to achieve absolute independence from the power grid and an unprecedented purity of DC supply voltage up to 350V.
Today, all my expertise from rigorous electrical engineering, the finely tuned ear of a sound engineer, and the vision of an artist converges in my atelier. My devices are refined through masterful woodworking and acoustically resonance-optimized violin varnish. Proprietary technologies like the "Pure DC Black Noise" concept and the vibration-optimized Tube Suspension System (TSS) nip microphonic effects in the bud.
All these elements merge into genuine acoustic artworks. Here, I develop the finest single-ended guitar amplifiers with breathtakingly fast, dynamic sound, as well as uncompromising headphone amplifiers. The absolute culmination of perfection for audiophile enthusiasts finally peaks in the Maurice Signature Leonard. These and other masterpieces will leave the atelier in strictly limited quantities in the coming years.
